Cascade T90 Hop Pellets / USA / 2023 / AA: 7.8%

The Cascade cultivar takes its name from the Cascades, a mountain range of volcanic origin in the USA. The variety was bred in Oregon as part of the USDA breeding programme and released in 1972. The typical features of Cascade are its long, dark-green cones and relatively low alpha acid content. Cascade has a very pleasant, fruity, citrus-like aroma.

Once again, this year, we are presented with a prominent fruity aroma mix dominated by lemon overtones. Strong berry and caramel flavours and sweet fruit notes follow this.

Aroma Characteristics

Cascade's aroma is dominated by fresh grapefruit, complemented by green fruits, such as white grapes and quince, pineapple and red berries, with a hint of raspberry sauce.

The weight limit is 30kg for DPD and 70kg for DHL, either by volumetric or actual, whichever is greater. (Remember, a large packing box weighs 1kg of that total weight).
