Developed by Hop Breeding Company and released in 2012, Mosaic® HBC 369 contains high alpha content and features a unique and complex aroma profile that translates favourably into various beer styles.  It is a daughter of Simcoe® YCR 14 and a Nugget-derived male. Mosaic® is named in honour of the artistic assortment of aromas and flavours it can present.

WHAT IS DYNABOOST™?

Formerly YCH 702, DynaBoost is an oil-enriched extract that flows effortlessly at ambient temperatures.

DynaBoost was crafted as a hassle-free whirlpool addition that amplifies aromatics through a concentration of wort-soluble compounds. Thanks to that solubility, less solid matter impacts your waste stream, and more wort heads to your fermenter. Some brewers report up to a 5% increase in wort yield.

GO WITH WHAT FLOWS

Derived through supercritical CO2 extraction and a unique proprietary process, we have created a product that sets itself apart. DynaBoost’s greatest strength is its extreme pourability! We recommend storing DynaBoost as you would any other hop product: below 25°C (77°F) and as low as -1°C (30°F). If you store DynaBoost in your cooler, simply take it out at the start of your brew day for maximum flowability.

FIRST RATE

The recommended usage rate for this product will vary by brewery but should be between 0.15 and 0.5 grams per litre. Our general guideline for subbing in DynaBoost for T-90 pellets uses a 1:10 ratio by weight. 10 kg (22 lbs.) of T-90 pellets can be replaced with 1 kg of DynaBoost, or Current Pounds of T-90 x 45.4 = Grams of DynaBoost to Use.

HOW TO BREW WITH DYNABOOST?

DynaBoost is a versatile companion in the brewhouse, adding a rich and dynamic hop character to your beer. This exceptionally flowable oil extract delivers varietal hop characteristics to your brew through a high concentration of beer-soluble compounds. Thanks to its solubility, brewers may see an increase in wort yield due to reduced trub.

KETTLE: DynaBoost has a variety-specific alpha acid content and can be used as an early bittering or late aroma addition in the kettle.
Post-Boil/Whirlpool: DynaBoost was designed to boost aromatics as a whirlpool addition. The wort soluble oil extract will deliver variety-specific aroma attributes and minimize trub, potentially increasing your whirlpool yield.
Fermentation: DynaBoost is not a recommended addition to fermentations.
Dry hopping: DynaBoost was not intended to be used as a dry-hop addition.
