Tettnang Herkules

With a strong and robust flavour and aroma, German Herkules lives up to its name. The Hüll-bred offspring of Hallertauer Taurus, Herkules is a high alpha acid bittering hop, known to be spicy and floral, tangy and hoppy, with notes of melon, black pepper, and hints of pine.

Herkules is a German high alpha variety released in 2005 by the Hop Research Center in Hüll. Herkules are usually used for their powerful bittering potential. It also offers a complex aromatic character ranging from melon and citrus to floral and piney to spicy and menthol. Herkules is a high-yielding variety that usually yields 2,200 - 2,500 pounds per acre.

Herkules is a bittering hop commonly used to bitter the beer during brewing and not for too much flavour and aromas. Herkules hops have aroma descriptors, including robust hoppy with some citrus and melon.

The weight limit is 30kg for DPD and 70kg for DHL, either by volumetric or actual, whichever is greater. (Remember, a large packing box weighs 1kg of that total weight).
