The Honey Refractometer is designed to work with sugar related liquids with a high sugar content such as honey, jelly, jam and syrup to help monitor and control sugar concentrations. Another function of is for checking the "ripeness". This refractometer will give Brix, Baumé and Water readings.

The refractometer only requires a tiny sample of your liquid for measurements. Simply use a pipette or spoon to take a sample, place it on the refractometer screen and hold it up to the light to view the results.

There is also no need for temperature correction due to automatic temperature compensation (ATC).
