Tettnang Ariana

Ariana hops are a new variety released by the Hop Research Center in Hüll, Germany. Ariana is the daughter of Herkules and a wild male and is a high-yielding variety. It is juicy with dark fruits like blackcurrants and is backed by smooth oak, tobacco, and vanilla. There are also some bright elements of grapefruit when used in late additions.

Flavor & Aroma Profile

Ariana is an aroma hop typically used in only late boil additions, including dry hopping. Ariana hops have key flavours, including passion fruit, pineapple, jasmine and tangerine. It is also fruity, with an intense black currant and gooseberry berry character. It also has high citrus notes (particularly grapefruit) with slight resinous and herbal tones.
