Jester® is a registered trademark of Charles Faram & Co Ltd and is from the Charles Faram Hop Development Programme.
Jester® is a Cascade seedling (a cross between Fuggle and a Russian variety). It was planted in 2009 with its sister Olicana® and was originally selected on aroma. It was commercially released in 2013.
Agronomics
Jester® has small leaves. The variety has good wilt resistance (en par with Cascade & Target). It is Downy Mildew tolerant and Powdery Mildew susceptible but is tolerant like Sovereign. Jester’s field characteristics are driven by temperature as it likes it warm in the Spring.

Weight Limits:
The weight limit is 30kg for DPD and 70kg for DHL, either by volumetric or actual, whichever is greater. (Remember, a large packing box weighs 1kg of that total weight).
