Northern Brewer T90 Hop Pellets / Germany / 2024 / AA: 8.2%
Northern Brewer was bred in 1934 from an American and an English hop. Due to its moderate alpha content and pleasant aroma, this variety is particularly suitable for dual purposes. In addition to the USA, Northern Brewer is also grown in England and Germany.
In the raw hops and the cold extract, citrus, mandarin, and lime aromas are in the foreground in this breeding variety. In the raw hop, sweet fruits such as pineapple, red strawberries and menthol, and light notes of cream caramel complement the taste profile. Watermelon, peach, and apricot are to be tasted in the cold extract.
Descent
Bred in England, Northern Brewer is a cross between an American wild hop and a male English plant.
Key Flavours
Northern Brewer hop pellets are spicy, resinous and herbal
